RESCU Expands Membership Eligibility to First Responders and Their Families Across Southern Idaho
Spokane, WA – June 2026 – Responders Emergency Services Credit Union (RESCU) is proud to announce that it has received formal approval from both the Idaho Department of Finance and the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions to expand membership eligibility to first responders and their families in ten Southern Idaho counties.
Effective immediately, eligible first responders who live or work in the following counties may join RESCU and access its full range of financial products and services:
Ada, Adams, Boise, Canyon, Elmore, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, Valley, and Washington Counties.
This expansion represents an important milestone in RESCU's continued commitment to serving those who dedicate their lives to protecting and supporting their communities. We are honored to extend our membership to more of these dedicated professionals and their families throughout Southern Idaho. This expansion allows us to continue our mission of providing trusted financial services to those who serve.
RESCU has long been committed to supporting first responders through personalized financial solutions, competitive loan products, savings opportunities, and exceptional member service. The expansion enables thousands of additional first responders and their families to become part of the RESCU community.
Marketing efforts announcing the expansion will begin immediately through RESCU's website, social media platforms, direct mail campaigns, and community outreach initiatives.
Membership eligibility requirements remain in place. First responders must provide proof of qualifying service or employment and must live or work within one of the approved counties.
While this expansion significantly broadens RESCU's reach in Idaho, membership eligibility is currently limited to the approved counties. RESCU remains committed to exploring future opportunities to serve additional first responders and their families throughout the state.
